The Man Who Could Not See

The Man Who Could Not See

A Poem by Steven Bilodeau

The glow he missed when he was young

once on his face, warm the sun.

His love stolen through the times,

gathered up to his lonley binds.

Restricted his soul, he fought to controll but lost in the end,

and now is blind.

'Am I blind?'  The old man said.

'No way, I can see!'

Today has been a test of sight

tomarrow will be a test for might

yesturday was the test of soul

this had man lost, so out of control!

The man who could not see

all what was happening to thee!

His live went by so quickly, and

only to find him self playing chess

in the sun, outside Central Park,

Alone.
