Waitin On A Lift

Waitin On A Lift

A Poem by Bill MacEachern
"

scattered musings

"
I don’t have a clue
What I will write
It’s not morning
Nor is it night

At a junk yard
Waiting for a Lyft
Heading up north
Turning that to this

Lyft got cancelled
Oh woe is me
What will I do
What will it be

Alas

My ride is Jeffrey
I haven’t met him
Nor
He, me

It won’t be till 5
But that is alright
I’m going up north
To make things all right

A splendid use of unexpected downtime here. Don't get mad, write.
