Wet Rainy DayA Poem by BillyShort poem about my first Living memoryWet Rainy Day
When I think back it is easy to find, my very first memory, still clear in my mind. It was when for some adult reason I got in the way, So in my green quilted anorak I was sent out to play.
The rain was quite heavy, I was out on my own, any play mates were absent, warm and dry in their home. It was all very peaceful and rain bounced off my hood, As I splashed in the puddles like little boys should.
Unaware of the problems that my parents unfurled, I felt very happy...in my own little world. This moment was special in my mind it will stay, my very first memory on a wet rainy day. © 2017 BillyAuthor's Note
