Compassion's RoseA Poem by William Michael ReevesFor a nurse named Rose
A garden will flourish, when in its need
falls under the care of compassion's Rose; whose strength will carry love to every seed ~ the love that healing lives naturally grows. For all the flowers growing in our hearts, we look for confidence to be nourished. The petals of a rose is where it starts; on velvet beauty, where our hope is wished. Though some will wilt and be destined to die ~ will softly fall where Nature's bed is made; the cycle will renew to reach the sky, where loving memories will never fade. So, touch a Lily of the Valley white; then smell the fragrance healthy flowers bring. You'll feel the warmth of Rose's light ~ when ailing blossoms thrive, our nurses sing! 2023 © 2023 William Michael ReevesAuthor's Note
