Forest of song as swords of light
are thick with life and words, those deeds of valor wield might so sung by singing birds who fly on notes such fairies write ~ sharp lyrics lay so flat reflecting thought not wrong, but right as justice tries for that; for truth can fly on wings we heard though trebled clefts bring fright so listen with your heart assured that magic can take flight to cast a spell that speaks of peace across love's habitat we'll find the tension, then release ~ we sit and have a chat 'bout how to get all war to cease ... ideas time gathered, we rest on hope makes hate decrease composed by truth concurred. Then plans were made to take the fight ~ she phrased a masterpiece fay forged a sword that sharpens sight ... love's tempo does increase as hearts that beat will see combat strong faith does evil spite wherever music ... heavens at, so passed to Earth for sprite to harmonize in fifths and thirds ~ contrive a peaceful piece that carries love on wings of birds with notes as soft as fleece she sang her name as day turned night, took wing on words that stirred our courage versed makes war on blight an army not deterred by evil sought, nor swayed caprice revealed truth begat from words as swords, one blade apiece light's loving diplomat found strength in all, her need deferred to soldiers who recite her poets watched her fly on peace ... blew stardust kisses bright. Then in mid-air, some thought occurred for when she called moonlight a chorus rang her name unheard, "Fay Fairie Gouwnie Sprite!" 2022 © 2022 William Michael ReevesAuthor's Note
