A Poem by William Michael Reeves
"

Fusion poetry #1: Acrostic Nonette

"
Able people ev'rywhere will be
Blind, deaf, autistic minds agree
Intellectually fine
Lives worth living are free
In love by design
Talking C.P.
I hear sign
Eyes shine
See?

Author's Note

William Michael Reeves
Talking C.P. means a lot to me. Most who have it have a speech impediment. With practice, listening intently with honest understanding, you are said to "speak C.P." And I know sign language which is an important part of communication. I'm learning about new forms of poetry everyday. Seemed fun to combine some. Any ideas?

Yes I see, how a simple gesture can do a lot, exactly as we spoke earlier about the "smile". I wonder how they view our world in their eyes... maybe we are the ones who lack many thing, most important love and kindness, truth and honesty. theirs is never a fake or a lie.

I look forward to reading it.
I used to work with autistic and CP kids and they were smart and kind and I loved teaching them. They had had abilities just like any of us and their lives were definitely worth living....love is everywhere....truth is too.
