I kinda like this haiku thing. See something on the news and next thing you know I'm writing a poem about it. What's wrong with Me? (Now I know it's not haiku)

Oh the trip into space. I would imagine that to be so awesome that seeing our planet from a brand new perspective could be a moment to shed a few tears. What an experience Bill. Only for the very wealthy eh? A visual and emotional senryu.

When he landed after his trip up and tried to describe his experience. I'm referring to how a time will come when that experience is common and we all cry because we almost touched the stars. Probably won't be affordable in my lifetime. Oh well.

Oh Lord I hope we don't find another earth! We will just destroy that too. I think we are destined for destruction but hopefully not the whole planet just us, spare the rest. and I can't remember that episode, geeze I'm getting old.

hi William, these are quite clever and well done, but Haiku is about only nature...it the same form is used for other ideas besides nature then it is Senryu...
