SpacewreckedA Poem by William Michael ReevesSci-fi rhyme time twisting into a tale of terror!
For great exploration
I was hurled With the help of fusion To an alien world. Through the confusion My mind in a fog The end of a mission I now must log. At first it was fun All systems were go Far from my sun Space I would know! Then gravitation From an unknown source Made my ship run Way off course. Downward I spun My life in God's cradle Fear and desperation Death inevitable! So in violation Of value and more A pact with Satan We both did score. That for my life won In exchange for my soul Humanity I must shun Eternally in a black hole. Now I dream of a liaison With family and friend My woman and son Love I wish I could send. How I long for the sun Of memories past Deadly deeds now done The mold now cast! © 2021 William Michael ReevesAuthor's Note
