The Light In SnowA Poem by William Michael ReevesSomewhere on the planet it's snowing right now.
The snow was nice. It was light.
Comforting in its excuse to hibernate. Reassuring in its light transitory touch. We wrapped in its blanket Insulated in introspection, Plotting our plots, And thought not much of yesterday. But what we did with today And tomorrow's advance Melting in the balancing warmth of the Earth. We were able! So we advanced firmly Through tomorrow which became today. And our thoughts turned to yesterday Happily hibernating. Our settled thoughts melting in comfort. It was nice. It was our light. 2005 © 2021 William Michael ReevesFeatured Review
