A Beautiful KillerA Poem by -b
Silent owl
With eyes that would remind you of the moon A homebound; little forest creature Who'll be out soon A nightly flyer; with a ghostly attitude I bet you wouldn't notice If it were to fly by you It stalks Smaller prey So if your tiny You better hide away Talons like razors A beak like a knife A Beautiful killer, in the darkness of the night What a shame... that no ones in sight And at the end of their "day"; it's sunrise While they go to sleep We all rise Their end, is our begin. © 2017 -bAuthor's Note
