She's a butterfly

She's a butterfly

A Poem by -b
"

Some things are just never ment to see their true beauty

"
Blue eyes
Pale skin
A ghostly smile
And she's heavenly thin
People see her beauty
But can't see the pain within
When she sees herself
She sees nothing.
She's a butterfly.

Locked in her mind
She's been secretly suffering
From every lie
Maybe she grew a little too fast
Maybe she just flapped her wings a little too hard.

When she was little
All she wanted was to fly
So she spun a golden silk cocoon so she could hide deep down inside
But the day she broke away
The clouds were filled up with too much pain
So it started to rain
And every sound of thunder
Made her wonder

What was her next move
What was she supposed to do
She started drowning
Her heart steadily pounding

How could something so small
Save itself
How come the world seems so tall
compared to everything else
How come wet wings can't fly
Why can't she save herself in time.

So she'll just keep waiting
for the sun to come out
Because that'll be the day
That she has no more doubt
The day that things will change
For the better
And we will all have sunshine weather.

This helps her believe
That maybe someday
Everything will be ok

That was so amazing and I loved it so much. And no, I'm not crying, I've just got something in my eye.
