A gift of love

A gift of love

A Poem by William J. Marsh
"

The way a woman should be treated.

"

Love is something sweet and kind with the deepest of emotions and feelings being compatible in life and with love. To linger knowing your not lost or alone,  for that one person has reached your soul as well as your heart. The thought of love forever not in a dream but in reality. The kind of love that all little girls hope and dream of. That once and final true love…

True love is when you find someone that is in love with your mind. Someone who wants to undress your conscience and make love to your deepest thoughts. Someone that patiently waits as you take down all of the walls that neglect has forced you to build up around your heart!

So I speak to you my darling;

From deep within, that little girl that you keep hidden away
Bring her out to play
And you shall have a wonderful day! XOXOXO

This is a touching write.....one that all women will be nodding their heads at as they read it. "True love is when you find someone that is in love with your mind. Someone who wants to undress your conscience and make love to your deepest thoughts." The most important errogenous zone is the brain....too often people lose sight of that fact. This is so lovely, William. Lydi**

You write with sincerity and speak truth here that I relate to. I think intimacy begins with the mind and everything else flows from there. Well done :)

What a beautiful poem. I do believe in true love and consider myself one of the lucky ones to have found it. This poem reminds me of how my husband treats me...so it's going in my library. Thank you for joining the true "gentlemen' club."

I'm with Rita, William. Spread the word. You envision love in a meaningful and lasting sense.

'Someone who wants to undress your conscience and make love to your deepest thoughts.'

Now, that's a sexy line and a damn fine metaphor.
