Rains Regret

Rains Regret

A Poem by Bill MacEachern
"

Nature

"
Tiny shards of ice
Bouncing off the ground
Like shattered glass
Mimicking the sound
Yearning to be snow
Intricate as lace
Instead, micro mirrors
Searching for a face
Hoping to float
Flutter
Dart like a bee
Sorry little raindrop
'Tis not cold enough
For thee
