DEATH

DEATH

A Poem by BikerAngie

Death never comes at an opportune time
Whether it be a pet or a loved one
There seems to always be things left unsaid
We feel the pain

The loved one is gone.. at peace we are told
But we are left behind
And something is missing from our lives
We often begin to question our own lives and the values there of

Why him or her
Why not me
Suddenly we feel the inadequacy in our lives
We see the missed opportunities to say how we felt

We think of our last words to the loved ones
Did we tell them we loved them enough
Could we have hugged them more.. made them feel more loved

Why do we wait till death to feel the grief

When it is in life we could have done better
Should we not learn
To love in the fullest
Never let a day go bye without.. telling those we love how we feel

Hug and kiss those we love daily
Lets stop living with regrets and start living with compassion and love
