Ugly Swan

Ugly Swan

A Poem by Gustan Joseph
"

I own lips that mutter clever notes that I shouldn’t have even bother to have spoke.

"
Beautiful, I’m what a waste of your time.
Yet for all the lack of consideration,
you’ve more than wasted mine.

I’m a joke.
I own lips that mutter clever notes
that I shouldn’t have even bother to have spoke.

Surprise when my letters go without a single reply.
I’m  just not your type.
Just waiting  for a handsome boy with a stamp on his forehead.
Waiting for Mr. Right.

Well than I’m no ones type.
I’m f**k ugly.

Him. What a luck boy.
A king fit for queens,
while by all mines, I’m just a pawn.

A ugly duckling is a ugly swan.

There was this dating site I used to like to visit a lot. I'd write to girls, and they wouldn't even reply. It would be like I wasn't saying anything at all. It was like that 85% the time, no replies. I mean you could at least say you're not interested. Fuck, girls can be so mean.

A poem that expresses feelings of unworthiness because of how picky women can be, appearance shouldn't matter that much, it should be what's inside that matters. A nicely penned write showing how hard it can be to find someone.
