False Angel

False Angel

A Poem by Big_Mac

You sit on the cloud like your Gods gift to creation

Telling me about the wonders of your salvation

I can't believe a word you say because all you do is lie

You sit up on a cloud with your golden halo way up high

You look down at me and say I'm the demon that must die

You judge me as if I'm your enemy, like it is justified

Pull the halo around your neck and rip you off the cloud

You’ve made me what I am and I know this now

I'm truly not sorry for the demon that am

But you should be sorry for the Angel you are not.

great writing. brings to mind how a person could be such a hypocrite and it makes you want to 'pull the halo around your neck and rip you off the cloud'. that's good stuff.

Wow that was deep to me nicely done. I mean we know who we are that is okay but, when someone else tries to be something their not giving false hope to another thats wrong another level. Anyways I really liked this well done and can't wait to read more of your poems.
