Where I Belong

I am from wearing high heel shoes to school to spending my lunchtimes in the library

From staying out late with friends every night to never going out again

I am from laying out by the pool to hiking up the desolate road we now live on

From the Knots Berry Farm trips every other year to no vacations at all

I am from watching baseball and football games to going camping and watching fishing on t.v

From the high school parties to no longer having any kind of fun

I am from the volleyball and cheerleading teams to not being able to play any school sports

From the one in the morning 711 runs to rarely ever going into town

I am from where I belong to somewhere I will never fit in.
