My  Toes  Barely  Reaching Into  The  Shore

 

Heat  Beating Down   As Hot  As  The  Water

Bright  Reflections  shining  Down  On  Me  From  The  Sun

There's  Wind  Swimming  Between  The  Palm  Trees

As  I'm  Scraping  The  Sand  From  Under  My  Nails

 

The  Leaves  Of  The  Trees   Are  Swaying   As  Fast    As  The   Water

While  I'm  Sweating  From  The  Warmth   Of  The  Sun

 

Because  I'm  Too  Far  From  The  Shore

And  I   All   Want  Now  Is  Sleep

Toes  Strolling Throught  The  Shore

Walking  Up  To  My  Hips  In   Water

 

Waves  Brushing  The  Tips  Of  My  Nails

Wisping  Sounds  Coming  From  The  Trees

Trying  Not  To  Stare  Dead   At  The  Sun

Beautiful  Rays  Running  Down  From  The Sun

Crashing  Deep  Into  The Shore

 

Snaking  Between  The  Leaves  Of  The  Trees

Falling Back Into The Water

 

As  The  Waves  Sleep
