Ending the cycle.
A Poem by
P.J. Amey
You stole.
You lied.
You killed.
You Hurt.
You Destroyed.
No more.
I raise my hand.
I grip the handle.
I squeeze the trigger.
I break the cycle.

This can also be seen as the last words of someone putting a gun to their own head. We steal our own peace, we lie to ourselves, we murder people in our minds, we hurt ourselves and others, enough guilt will drive a person to the edge.
Breaking the cycle of life...
