No World Part 2: Dark PinkA Poem by P.J. AmeyBefore I wake upThe clock struck 10 Pm The ring, it echoed in the night. and just in a flash, a sea of beautiful light. "lets go down and walk around, it may be late but its okay in this part of town." I agree, not prepared for my cruel fate. but it was late, and she wanted to see the lights. I haven't a choice left but follow, follow her into the night. just in a blink, we stood on the side of the road, pink hair shadowed by the evening. and suddenly, a deep and terrible feeling. was I to awake? right at the get go? I wanted to finish this......date? What was I doing? and where are we? I know these things don't matter, but, "where the hell are we? " I asked, she turned, and I saw her face. she rolled her eyes, and let out a sigh, "I must go and your time is nigh", "I'm not sure ill see you again, "I guess this ... this is goodbye?" "Ill try my best to return to this place, this city, the clock tower, whatever the case." she looked down, her hair slowly fading away, and soon she did too, as did the night, the lights, and my ....date? Who I think was Olphena, had a playful soul, she seemed to love skylines, cities, and lights. but the only burning question I want to know, is if I'm going to see her, or no?
