No World Part 1: Pink

No World Part 1: Pink

A Poem by P.J. Amey
"

Enjoy! :D

"
Where is the world.
I feel alive.
something I've taken some time
to find on my own,
but I haven't
I just haven't.
and she knew that.

But who is she?
why am I here?
there's a clock tower I'm standing on
the feelings quite queer.
where the hell am I?
oh that's right,
I feel asleep,
sometime through the night.
none of this is real, and neither is she.
...But who is she?

Pink hair, she had Pink hair.
that's weird but not too much,
I can say for certain,
I love her pink hair,
I did, I loved that pink hair.

but a face?
I don't know, there wasn't a face.
there was no trace of a face
this I swear.

but she asked me,
"wont you come sit with me?"
do I Dare?
and who is she?
who is she?
I know that I'm dreaming but again,
WHO IS SHE?

I haven't a look at her face,
but I know
that her voice is familiar
but who is she?

"You know who I am silly, you've seen me before."
I grasp at a name,
"Olphena?"
"well duh."

"I've been here this whole time waiting on this clock tower for you. you never showed up until now. but now that your here sit down I want the opportunity to speak with you at long last."
"What's up?"
I asked.

"Did you notice the clouds, oh how fluffy they are?"
her words seemed so innocent,
yet I wondered their cause.
"why am I here?"
I asked in a hurry

"because you want to be here."
she said,
it made sense
I wanted to see her.
but I hadn't a face,
just the pink hair that drifted in the wind.

She looked so beautiful, but I didn't get the chance to see her face.

Nicely written, Amey (Biff ?). Your poem reminds me of the travel of a young woman who entered another dimension - to meet of all people her Father who died years ago. The movie is called, "Contact." with Jodie Foster.

You are quite the accomplished artist too. Perhaps in a future verse you might draw the front of this mysterious pink-haired girl. Don't be surprised if her eyes are multi-faceted. Many mystery girls I dream about always are, as if they view their world through a kaleidoscope.

Wow, this is a hell of a poem. I stayed entranced by the mystery and other worldly feel of it all. This is a great poem.
