Permissio

Permissio

A Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayah

He used to walk in unannounced each time,
This also included her most private thoughts,
What the Bodhi told us, to ask for permission,
Is something we must all consider important.
To those who love the drama of gallantry,
Awaiting Caeser's crossing of the Rubicon,
I offer my apologies. These times as they are,
Consists of the ways of man, where courtesy,
Is the manner of decorum consistent with love.
Its social skills. The artist, an architect of persona,
Is at the gate of the city, awaiting the mayor,
Only she can bid him enter and finish the labor.
We ask this in the name of all that we hold dear,
For stupid are the scant studies; lands us in the pit,
Only freewill, passionately preserved, is the key.

In the practice of the impersonal, the self is viewed as an object in the environment. A nice reference to personal identity and the place of habitat as equal references to an individual's identity. Cool!
