A Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayah

They are in a perceived sense, one of a kind,
Which introduces some peculiarities, unusual.
They love and mate for life and perhaps eternally.
Which is hard in these days of disposable under wears,
And attitudes that seek freedom and experimentation.
Having lost a lover they are unable to express love,
And thereafter orientate to narcissistic love of self,
That expresses itself best with a same sex partner.
Impossible to deny and eventually understood as cruel,
When having regulated the taboo, a moral elder,
Realizes that its not about the sex but the love,
That is the entitlement of everyone in God's creation.
But where he achieves his one love for the woman special,
He is joy itself, exuberant, enthused and quite alive.
This, to be undertaken without choking the life of lovers.
Hence our labor of love that we engage volitionally today.

Some do mate for life--and lose everything when the soul mate is gone.
