A Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayah

From the moon a caricature that's short lived,

A nightmare that was waiting to begin but didn't,

An earth that beams anew, its whitish blue light,

The color of the sky with the clouds in tow,

Viewed from the earth without the moon's yellow,

Which the heart of the man, partly loves and is loved,

With light from his eyes, sees his ways and sees them again,

More powerful than a million stars, a man's realization,

Of his ways then and now, stepping down the staircase,

Captured by the the brilliance of the earth's crescent,

Curved, smooth, idling in the expectation of self glory,

A substitute perhaps for the vanity of the moon's shadow,

Sometimes fair, often dark, taken with force of capture,

Enslaved by its own precious concerns for life's needs,

A debt paid, a karma redeemed, he is the new Milton.
