One Left Leg

One Left Leg

A Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayah

A alio could operor peior victus alibi ,

Tamen a locus ut planto vos operor magis ,

Ex vicis of vestri ortus exaro vestri nex ,

Planto vos escendo septem tumulosus periclitor vestri mos.

Talis a locus in left crur of orbis terrarum ,

Est Italy. Ut quare totus via plumbum ut Rome.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A person could do worse living elsewhere,
But a place that makes you do more,
From the time of your birth till your death,
Makes you climb seven hills to test your will.
Such a place on the left leg of the world,
Is Italy. That's why all roads lead to Rome.
And surely a person could do no better than living in Rome.
Sounds so beautiful. The addition of both languages adds so much to the meaning. I hope to climb those hills someday
