Thetis

 

 

 

Thetis was the mother of Archilles,

She was a wonder child, very excitable,

She dreamt up her experience of the world,

Saw it for what it was and taught her son to pursue,

A goal of making the world a better place to live.

What she saw was a dream. To achieve, it meant a war,

Archilles was tossed in the storms, grew up to be a man,

Served a king who served himself but not his mother's vision.

But today, we know him as the bravest hero in battle,

Who will always achieve what he sets out to do,

It's because he believed his mother, even though it was a dream.
