Shin

Shin

A Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayah

I should have introduced myself better,
The burdens of virtue have been enormous.
I am not a Myrmidon in Rome, but I am,
And I am in Rome, as my name implies.
Rome is the shin of the leg that is Italy.
I stay away from soccer because of injuries.
My name is not from the word shining,
Nor is my name from any misspelling of shin.
I can say this. HE asked the Indic for help.
The Indic referred him to Kathir, who is,
That's where I got my son from, Bidayah,
So HE asked me to help out and I said OK,
HE is after all, the father of man, very early.
I am the widowed mother of Bidayah, the kid,
I used to suffer from altitude sickness, but
It got worse and now I am experiencing duality,
Which is a dangerous malaise on ideas of virtue,
So if you are looking for a bad woman in Rome,
Ask for Shin. I am available most nights.
Don't tell Bidayah, he thinks his mother is someone else.
