Social NaturesA Poem by Shin ( formerly known as ) Bidayahby Shin
A social whirl fetes on spontaneity, No time to prepare a speech, Nor to create a rehearsal of events, You get into it and you take a part, Of that which transpires in a moment, And then, we wonder about our actions, In a space reserved for such things, Where they might be so installed in us. Here, we contemplate on the nuances, Of the many things that we encounter, The way it points at virtue and ourselves. What we refer to as measurements of conduct, Where that takes place in our minds, So precisely in the way we expect things, In the manner of our personality, In the many actions that we engage in. What the pessimist tells us about others, That no body means what they say, Suggesting that we dump everything, And then to wander the pathless winds, As the one true man of the world. Have we been just doing that? Are we now coming to realize the natures? That it all comes down to personality, That falls off the banners and lands on its feet.
