HW. 20

This is about a road that takes me to a deep state of thought ever time I drive it. Anyone else see know the feeling I am talking about; let me know. I would love to hear about it.

20 miles out of town

is where my heart can still be found

take what seems an endless trip

east HW. 20 to a former love

thoughts of what is about to come

as I drive into the blinding sun

even with the light in my eyes

I could see so clear

as I think of seeing my dear

 

ten miles out of town

is where my heart can still be found

same road even longer trip

west HW. to deep thoughts of fantacy

visions of what has come and gone

as I drive thoguht the mightnight stars

scared I am not because I know she will

stay forever, cos the love is real

 

20 miles out of town

is where my heart can still be found

same road now leads to nowhere

east or west HW. 20 it does not matter

thoughts of what has left me behind

as I drive fo no real meaning

the love had still lingers around

everytime I drive to that heartless town
