Lifeless patchA Poem by FictionWhen the love of your life leaves, emotionally scarring you.All you have given me is pain, Venom dipped words guised as rain, Prickly gifts making me bleed, My love was just your refuge in times of need. It has been long since you left, Now I want to report a theft, You stole away the smile I had, Left behind marks hurting bad. The once blooming garden of my heart is now a lifeless patch, Every filthy touch of yours, I am now trying to remove with a scratch, The nights have witnessed me battling the inner turmoil, As the image of your hand in hers starts forming in my mind, in anxiety I recoil.
