Pure happiness

Pure happiness

A Poem by bianca

Let me dream a little more
To feel happiness again
From the soul of a child,
Let me say goodbye
From summer nights
From the songs on the radio.
Let me be happy
Of the unknown world,
Of the little girl I was.
please don't take me from here
Don't take me far from the warmth of childhood,
Don't steal my last particle
Of pure emotion.
Let me cry, let me laugh
To run in the field full of flowers,
Let me play until
Sleep will carry me into his world.
Just a few more seconds I ask of you...
Until the past catches up with me
The soul of a child.

I understand this in a certain way...I am still very much attached to my youth....to my high school days...even younger days in Vermont...I feel all of that is carried with me no matter
where I go or what I do....I am still there as well as here.
