A Ray of Hope

A poem of pain and emotions , leading to overcoming the issues and coming out strong.

I was in the pool of darkness,
Aghast and terrified,
Nothing was visible
I was shocked and surprised.
My life had been changed
And all dreams shattered
I was not able to face the reality
Because the past still mattered
There was nothing which could make me happy,
Or bring back smile on my face
My mind was fighting the emotions
And my heart still in want to win the race
I felt my world has come to an end
This made me feel like dead
Like an arrow striking a bird
And cutting its little head.
I asked several questions to God
How could he be so cruel and bad?
Why he didn’t think about me ,
And made my life miserable and sad?
God asked to find the answer within me
To understand and remove the darkness
He told me to believe in myself
And thus a ray of hope brought back my happiness…
