Then and Now

Through this poem I have tried to explain how things have altered from 90s period to the current. Our way of expressing has drastically grown with the technology,but has become more robotic.

Then we used to save those precious negatives
Now we are just satisfied with usual selfies

Then we loved to play in the ground
Now we are more and more home bound

Then we were busy in sibling fights
Now we are occupied with endless networking sites

Then we would call to wish and celebrate
Now we just text or post even if it is little bit late

Then we preferred interacting with letters and cards
Now it's not onerous to view a person away million of yards

Then we had tranquil environment to walk everywhere
Now it's too much filthy whether it's water, food or air

Then we were busy playing with couple of toys
Now only online games give us actual joys

Then we cared for everyone's sentiment
Now opinion of people is defined impediment...
