Dont' want to grow up!

Dont' want to grow up!

A Chapter by Bhargavi

Don’t want to grow up!

She doesn’t want to grow up...

Bind her again

Feels like a shackle

Holding the hand she had until crossed the roads,

Till yesterday everything was so simple, within reach

But today the doors of the protected cage opened

And she is thrown into a pseudo freedom;

What a sham!! The painful irony...

A limbo that has the limbs free but an impasse;

The limbs have grown and birthday candles multiplied

But the

People changing colours like kaleidoscope

Don’t want to learn the ways of the world

Why should I be not an exception?

Left alone

Forced to grow up

Till yesterday I was expected to know such little,

But today I have been thrown into the ocean

Not even able to swim to fight the sharks and mighty waves

Y do I need to learn politics when I am hardly interested

Y do I need sports when I can’t play them myself
