An Ode to togetherness

 

 

The wheels of time sweep me off my feet,

I feel dizzy caught in its whirlwind,

watch a kaleidoscope of colours of my life rush past before my eyes,

The giant wheel of fate turns so fast,

snatching away the touch of the last finger-tips of an insouciant celibacy,

All along I wait with a fleeting euphoria;

Alas! It stops before you.

I gingerly put forward a still quivering step towards you,

A hopeful anxiety seeking a promise that none of my next would be lonesome.

Lets embark upon this ode to the odyssey called togetherness.
