The Cerberus Vixen

A poem by Alejandro Manuel Espinoza

If yours is the vicious scent of the Cerberus vixen

Then teach me so, what desire will be

Without the sweetness of her heartbreak epidemic

Coming again and again,

Reincarnation of a missing carnation

Within every layer of chalk white flesh

The palms you possess in your eyes

Inviting to love me, to love me not

Are you my archetypal lust?
