Forever Woven is the Feeling

Forever Woven is the Feeling

A Poem by Alejandro Espinoza
"

A mother's day poem.

"

Forever woven is the feeling”

Ashes settle on a b r o k e n gossamer thread

The only thing left after the world is silent; dead

A pathless twirl – a sea-like motion

An invisible kiss and gentle touch of devotion

Immortal thread

Infinitely growing – the deepest RED

Begin to pulse and manifest a heart

A bud of flesh – an illustrious art

Autumn

bringing flowers, descending with warm delight

Nightfall

bearing fireflies of cerulean light
Dawn

advancing with love that is ever so slight

Breathing and D A N C I N G deep within limbo

So tranquil a sleep, a candle so dim will grow

Mother and child a connection made by

A kick, a gasp, and a conscious sigh

A moment since this feeling first begun

A feeling stronger than immortal thread was spun

Creating a bridge between a son and his mother

You are the only one – I would have no other

I really like how you've constructed this poem...not many do concrete poetry on site so it's always wonderful to see. You made the words express themselves both through your writing and also by the creative use of various fonts which helped to show the poem while your words told it.
