Weird Pain

A feeling at random times

Tears come streaming down
Just getting tougher to hold them in
Unexplicable as it seems
Why does it get so hard?!

Looking around just makes it worse
the world seems like a stranger
I am like completely zoned out
Away from everyone' s world

Conversations seem to just being dragged
as if a compulsion to keep them going
Inside in a completely different world
I am tempted to run away

In this temporary phase
I feel so emotionally hurt
But it doesn't last much long
As time passes, I am smiling again.

I remember being like this for a good chunk of my life. Holding in my tears whether I knew why they were there or not (usually I didn't) caused me to end up holding them back at the odd interval during a random time or place, often around others so I learned to allow myself to cry but never around others, just to myself, and suddenly I feel better because I'm not caging my own emotional agony. Anyways, great work, the summary above describes how I can relate which is always the mark of good writing! :)

pain sometimes seems to be too weird...
but as the tears take away the pain we again become normal and the smile again takes its place on our face:)
