All is well now, the sacrifice has been made. The fairies will carry on and life will go on normally in the human world. The humans go on, unknowing of the dark things that go on in the fairy world.

Things will never change; it will always be this way.

Until the very end of time.

Jay sits on Kaji’s grave, not holding back his tears. It has been 2 years, Jay has married. He has 2 children, Kaji and Mizu. He squeezes his eyes tight, as his beautiful wife appears behind him. “Honey, the kids are waiting,” she whispers. He nods wiping his tears away quickly. His young daughter, Kaji comes toward him embracing him. “Daddy? Who is this?” she questions. Jay pulls her close and looks down at the grave. “A girl that once was much loved,” he speaks gently to the child knowing she will never know the darkness of this.

She nods accepting this, realizing the pain this caused her father. “Then I shall love her too,” she says proudly. He smiles gently towards the child and stands.

She’s just like her.
