Chapter 14A Chapter by Beverly JaneIt's time, no going back now.I ran down the stairs and out the door. “Wait Kaji!” Jay
screamed after me. I just kept running, barely breathing. I had to get to whoever
this dark figure was, and fast. A vision blurred my vision, of a tree. Such a
strange tree, two trees actually. The two trees were interlocked together in
beautiful swirls with a gaping space between it. I stopped in my tracks blinking. “Kaji,” Jay’s
heavy breath was behind me. “What on Earth is going on?” he sounded somewhat
angry that I had ran off the way I did. “Follow me…” I saw the figure again and ran after it. I could hear the blood pounding in my ears, and my legs began to tire. “Slow down,” I whined. “No time…” “No time for what?” I yelled. “We are here.” Standing in front of me, were those two tries a light
brightly shining in the middle. Carved into it were desperate souls to be set
free. Two of whom I recognized from my visions I have had. “Romeo Montague, and Juliet Capulet,” I gasped touching the
tree ever so gently. “Come in…” I looked up to see a hand out to take mine from in the
middle of the trees. “What is this?” I felt as if I was suffocating. “The path to your destiny,” the strange voice answered. “No Kaji! Don’t go in,” Jay was behind me grabbing my
shoulders and pulling me away. “Why?” I was curious of why he was so against
it. “It’s a trap,” he was taking deep breaths. “Kaji,” the voice was familiar.
I looked up to see Mizu’s beautiful- not mangled damaged face in the bright
light. His blue eyes growing brightly, with something I didn't quite understand
in them. “Mizu,” I whispered tears welling up in my eyes. “I’m here.” *** © 2013 Beverly JaneAuthor's Note
