Let him be

Let him be

A Poem by BBP

All fucked up with a gun in his hand
Talking 'bout some s**t that no one understands
Just leave him alone and he'll be better tomorrow
Just let him get drunk and wallow in his sorrow

If only tha would work. Often that seems to be the afterthought of regret. Men should learn to marshal their feelings in constructive ways n stead of always using a hammer.

I killed a man in Reno...

In general, it's best to leave us brooding/angry/ males alone with a pitcher or bottle.

Usually we snap out of it and solider on...but guns notch it up to another level.

I seriously believe that if more of my friends had guns growing up, I'd be visiting the pen or graveyard a lot more now.

My friend was married to an alcoholic, it would have been nice if he would have left her and her kids alone. Valentine

Sometimes absence is the best gift!
What a fierce, honest write. Your words flow in a piercing wildness for a drunken soul's voyage.

Lol too funny Paul
Sometimes its better to let others on their own to tackle things rather than risk being on the receiving end of their "guns".. Nice and powerful! I liked reading this☺

Elvis Presley used to shoot out the TV. The poor guy was so messed up
You could have been writing his mental state towards his end here.
As everyone's said - powerful piece here.
My kind of poetry.
