Drowning under a sea of thick and
murky waters
algae and seaweed seem to clog up my every pore
swimming faster and harder than i ever have before
and still i can’t out swim this thing; my every muscle now tired and wore
that parasitic green-eyed sea monster; living beneath the ocean floor
i pulled away for a moment
and gasp one deep oxygen breath
then that hideous monster pulled me to further depths
i fought and fought for what seemed like an eternity
then that fetor b*****d smiled and looked at me
he said you will never escape my grip!
you haven’t got the heart
you’ll never outwit me
you’re not that smart
you're being drowned in your own current
pulled under by your own lament
your body twisted and pulled
in every direction bent
you can’t outlast the damage done
to fight me is time not well spent
don’t blame me i’m not the one
it’s of your own consent
you are your own worst enemy
this you know is true
i’m just a figment of your imagination
the real monster lives in you.
