words not passed

words not passed

A Poem by Charley Cee
"

After seeing my ex for the first time we split, we were standing next to each other but he just completely ignored me so I was inspired to write this poem/piece of writing.

"
So close we once were,
Now standing shoulder to shoulder,
As strangers,
The years of laughter and stories,
Now not a single word passed,
From each others lips,
Every night since we went our separate ways,
I still think of you and if you're doing okay,
My life's never been tbe same since,
Just like the corridor,
Where I watch constantly,
My life without you is so empty,
But today have shown,
Something i didn't want to see,
That you never once cared about me,
Why do I still think of you,
When there is nothing left of us,
Not a thread of hope,
Not a civil good bye,
empty promises,
And empty hearts,
Just tears rolling from me eyes

Reviews are appreciated. I am aware that some words rhyme and others don't,
I was just freely writing whatever I felt, I wasn't trying to make it any particular type of poem.
