FLYING WITH THE STARS

 

I fly high above a blue ocean deep

With excitement in my core

Overnight with brilliant stars

Potentially a sonorous sleep

 

When my crusty eyes unfold

I gaze outside the window

To the sun’s eyes peek

It is dawn I am told

 

Now I am afar

from all those I love

on a river ship we sail

I hope to eat some caviar

 

I will be back soon

On the next round of the full moon

A journey full of excitement. Yet, it brings separation. Good thing is the separation isn't necessarily forever. When you're coming back from this journey, bring back some goodies... couple of warm memories, new lessons learned and new inspiration to share.
I'd never journeyed on a river or am expanse of water before. But I salute those who have no such phobia like mine, I say live it up. Best regards from me.

sure sounds like living it up a bit. not a bad way to go. i can just picture you standing on the deck of that boat whilst we wave to you from the riverbank. i wonder if that river boat has one of those big paddle wheels. very nicely done. memorable ... :)
