dearest Betty... the softness of Roars in Kenya begins when the Sun rises and ends with the setting of the Sun. There is a Natural environment to seduce the Wild and Bold Romantic Souls. softly, Pat
Love in the wild! Love is wild. And definitely roars in the beginning, then in time purrs. I would describe this poem as exciting. Watch those claws when the safari is over and you get back to the tent!

The call and the answering of it in the animal kingdom seems so simple and we humans complicate it, but writing of it like this there is no mistake. Well done, powerful in so few lines. Love it.

Communication, often misunderstood by those outside and at times by those inside the circle. It is these misunderstandings and understandings that make or break relationships. Good write Betty

The call of the wild ubiquitous throughout nature, to its own kind no more a reminder to bring home the family pride, the poem here a symbol of kindredship and harmony ..

Well okay, but no tickling, not with those claws! Well, unless you want to hear me squeal like a little girl cub 😊
But, and I think this may very well be your point, that we are all animalistic at times. Sometimes it's playful too!
We're not all that different are we? Well, apart from the house, carpets, slippers and broadband connection that is 😊

My love of poetry results from my love of art. As a painter I am able to express myself on a canvas. As a poet my words come from my heart, my moods, sometimes sad, mostly upbeat. I like to use vivid .. more..
