Stories need conclusions

Rivers gush into seas

Winter is complete as spring emerges

Dreams detach in reality

Wars culminate with consequences

Passion withdraws after climax

Life expires with death

Time is continual without end

but we feel there is something after this life...many of us do...so in a way life is like many stories, ones with indeterminate endings...we might want or feel we need closure---but so much of this existence leads us to open ended determinations.
I like exploring this poem...and pondering each line...
time itself has no conclusion...the clock's hands continue to circle and always will.

Thank you dear J. I'm glad that you commented about after life...I guess that's really a personal belief; and should be pointed out.... As for myself, I feel like death IS closure.... and everything before that is toward that end....many of us welcome death as a finite... good topic for discussion!

Oh I agree, that's for sure. It seems that time is the only unending entity we have, at least as far as I know.
