song birds bop, chant sweet symphonies
Prussian blue planets cavort in space
ivory moon boogies in a slight haze
cadmium yellow sun romps til it tires
violet crocus' shindig in rich earth
psychedelic blossoms frolic in a fragile breeze
We shindig into spring, a muted color fusion of human faces
I love spring as warmer, brighter weather is on the way and the world, grey and barren becomes once again busy with new life and colour...spring lambs gambolling in open fields under warm sunshine are a sight to behold :)
Hope you are well Betty

Such vibrant images you share with your readers here Betty. Spring is my favourite season. It is wonderful to see so much colour after the grey and barren days of winter. You mention tulips. They are really lovely and come in so many colours. I treated myself to a bunch yesterday. All the best to you.

This is truly such a great, energy filled poem. It truly feels as if you’re ‘bopping into spring’ with the wonderful colors and descriptions, so bright and happy and cheerful and just beautiful! It has such wonderful creativity and such good energy. ‘Frolic in a fragile breeze’ so many of these descriptions truly do capture that one and only ‘spring time feeling’. It feels as if this poem holds some solar power itself. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you a million times P. Let’s bop into spring together!
Love it!
Hugs😊
Where was this when I was writing the colors thing. I might have to go out on a limb and say this is the most colorful poem I've read. Prussian blue planets with ivory moons. So cool! Dancing with your colors all the way. Hopping like a jitterbug into the psychedelica of your mind! There was a smile on this human face.

My love of poetry results from my love of art. As a painter I am able to express myself on a canvas. As a poet my words come from my heart, my moods, sometimes sad, mostly upbeat. I like to use vivid .. more..
