LOVE IS A BLUR

LOVE IS A BLUR

A Poem by Betty Hermelee
"

misty love,abstraction

"

LOVE IS A BLUR

The fog shrouds me

sadly, only a blur among many

he solely views

the sketch of my frame

though the hues of the painting

uncover noticeably more

I transform into a rainbow

yellow, orange, blue, pink

after a torrent

you can behold my cipher in a fragile mist

I so admire your words as well as your posted image Betty. When love feels like a fog and is unrecognised, how sad that is. However when it appears as a rainbow after a torrent, then surely that is irrisistible. That's where you took me dear poet :)

Thank you so much for your kind words Chris, much appreciated
Best to you, B.
dearest Betty... it has been Ages, since I
witnessed a Rainbow. Prior to Five years ago...
we would see at least one large Rainbow across
our Sky every Summer. That must be a "clue"
of climate change-- or something more mysterious.
I tend to wear many colors in every Season...
always for a Reason. Your poem is colored with deep feelings.
tenderly, Pat

Ah but this is lovely.; your selective
chosen words placed so eloquently
matches your painting perfectly..
your aura in rainbow hues shines
thru~ the fragile mist.

nice work

Indeed, the fog is an equal opportunity obscurer. It is up to the individual to stand out in its midst. Such is the power of the artist, to trace a vision that gives character to the mist. Is this painting one of yours?
