SOLIDITYA Poem by Betty HermeleeLove isn't easy!SOLIDITY
Why do you bleed for me? is my kindness blemished? you have a secret yet inept to share the makings of a rift I suppose your silence is earsplitting i implore a discourse
We have been seen, my dearest your warmth is more potent then the sun’s burning desire no intent to detach our bond it is the townspeople who glare my father’s want to withhold our marriage
Then we must enable our escape as long as our love vouches solidity yes, my precious still, my father threatens to cut off my birthright
We shall seek a covert locale every eve at dusk, we ought to gather under the furthest sour wood tree on the hill barely the moon will see us enfold our flesh scrutinize our eyes wake up at purple dawn until our marriage sanctifies
