BUSH SAFARI

 

Splendid bush safari

Bumpy ride

Alongside the speed of beasts

Color’s blur, flash by

We view lions, cubs

Intense, comely, grand

Mindful family

Silence rifts

Mother yawns

dearest Betty... I grew up close to the Washington National Zoo
in our Nations Capital. We spent many hours through the years
observing the Animals from all over the World. Giraffes, Elephants and Tigers,,,
Seals and Monkeys ... my favorite were the Gorillas and their personalities.

Read like a brief video of a safari, painting a picture for the mind's eye. Puts me in mind of a documentary about Theodore Roosevelt I have been watching. The difference is TR first looked at the animals, then shot them.

Aw I remember safari park visits. You reminded me. Kids loved it. Dad drove and mum pretended to be interested. The monkeys would jump all over the car. You took me back in time Betty with this little piece of brevity. I thank you for that. I would imagine the ones in Africa to be really special.
